Plan To Make Money Online? What You Should Be doing!

January 31, 2009 · Filed Under Work From Home Opp. · 1 Comment

For some days now, I have been busy querying my brain for new ideas and researching genuine alternatives to making money online. Though my brain returned old results(nothing new yet), but I’m very certain there is light at the end of the tunnel.

One thing that came to my mind while I was at my research was that if I hadn’t learned many of the things I know today, then it would be difficult for me to be able to research and generate ideas on making money and being successful online. This may not apply to everyone, but my understanding is that many people who know little or nothing about the internet and how things revolve around making money online would find it difficult to cope in such a big industry where just few players reap the most.Start Learning

What I’m saying in essence is, for you to really succeed online, you MUST learn the trade. You must learn how things like marketing works, how affiliates works, how advertising works, how setting up a domain and using simple html is done. All of these are core ingredients to being able to make money online.

The idea is not that you should know everything or be a jack of all trade, but knowing everything simply means having multiple streams of income. Understand that it’s also not necessary for you to know all of these, but having idea of how they work will contribute greatly to your online success.

You plan to make money online and you ask, what should I be doing? Well, I will say one simple thing, and that is,  learn. When you’re starting out online, you may not have all the resources to hire professionals to build/design your website, help attract visitors, or even market whatever it is you want to promote online. You will need to learn all of these and learning them does come with a price; it comes with dedication and time investment. With the internet, you’re assured of learning all of these for free.

Okay, you want to make money online and you have no experience whatsoever on how to set up a domain or create a one page html website to get your word out. The only way to get your word out is by advertising. If you do not want to pay for PPC advertising or other forms of advertising, you’ll resort to organic traffic. Now is the time to start learning.

Okay, you have a website and you know nothing about your site visitor and vital statistics, how would you make important decision regarding what works for your visitors? Remember, the site is not about you; it’s about your visitors. A website without visitors is like a bank with an empty vault. You always need to know where they come from and what they’re most interested in. All of these will help shape important decisions to be made. Thank God for a company like Google. There is the Google Analytics for you. Even if you do not have a serious website, it’s time to implement Analytics. Doing so means knowing how it works.

I thought it would be a nice idea to let those who need to know know that making money online sounds easy, but there’s a lot of effort and time to be invested. Over the coming days and weeks, I shall continue to let out those things that you need to know about making money and being successful online.

For now, I’m working on online marketing program and I hope to be able to share my stories and experiences. I am very hopeful it will be a good story. Watch out!

Ever Made Money Online? Time to Try

January 27, 2009 · Filed Under Work From Home Opp. · Comment

We all woke up yesterday to embrace the news about top companies laying off their employees– about 50,000 jobs to be lost. There is no better prove of the recessionary mode the economy is in than this brazen news that came out yesterday. As nothing is certain in this mode, and many jobs unsecured, I’m thinking the affected and not-yet affected people will find alternative sources of income. And if one will be finding other alternatives, the question is, where would you go if no company is willing to hire? The answer may just be nowhere.Thinking?

I think a time like this is when we need to reach out to our limitless understanding and device other ways to making money aside from the conventional 9 to 5 which many of us are used to. The computer right in front of you is equipped with internet access, but do you know how to channel that to benefit you? Time is money, but have you ever thought about the fact that the internet is money too? I mean real money.

The cyberspace is full of different ventures, ideas, and many unthinkables. All of these may seem like crap to many, but the truth is that millions of people make a living from this machine right in front of you. With the right ideas and proper understanding, you may just be on your way to financial freedom.

If you have an idea that you think is unique, a time like this is not the time to let it die untested. Remember, you can never know if it will be a success if you don’t try. No one was born with success, but if one is able to just take a little time off to ponder on the possibilities of one limitless abilities, then no one would chase success; instead success will chase you.

Through this computer right in front of you, thousands of people make unimaginable amount that many 9 to 5 job can’t stand. They didn’t achieve their successes overnight, they worked for it. You also can share in this if you’re ready to work for it. Very few people are involved in making money online and very few are in the “upper money making class.” Those in the “upper money making class” make in one month what some 9 to 5 can’t make in a year. Have you ever heard about the story of a blogger who made more than $35,000 in 1 month? Oh, okay, that sounds hefty; how about the blogger who made about$132,994.97 in one month?I bet you never heard of these stories. Don’t count yourself out; the opportunities available online are limitless and the money is right in your front.

I’m stating all of these not because I’m hating or for anyone to hate on them, but to see that you can have your own share of this pie. Like they say, you can hate the game, but don’t hate the player. When I see success stories like this, I’m moved and I’m re-energized to continue matching forward. Don’t feel intimidated; just look at all of these as achievable numbers. That’s it.

For those who are new to the online money making world, there is no fast track to achieving success overnight. Because the internet affords one the opportunity to be his own boss does not make it easy. It actually makes it harder because your success depends on you and if you can’t supervise yourself like your supervisor does at your 9 to 5 job, then your collapse is imminent.

Some days ago, I reviewed Project Payday, which to me is not a bad way of making money. I have come to fully understand that “one man’s poison is another man’s burger.” Personally, I may not rate it as the best money making opportunity out there, but some people love it to death and many of them can work it just like they’re eating a burger. If you have never made money online or are starting out to learning how to make some little extra cash online, I’ll tell you to give Project Payday a shot. Like I said earlier, if you never try, you never will know the outcome. Go ahead and read my review here. Don’t forget, you can always leave a comment or  contact me here.

Good luck.

Project Payday: Scam or Real?

project-payday

When I started Iverifythem(I.V.T) about a month ago, I started not because I had the primary goal of making money online or be one of the greatest bloggers. I started I.V.T with the genuine desire to help people make that extra little cash online. As you may have read in the about page, the mission is to delve into the genuine opportunities available online; test them to see if their words are real and bring them to you and those who care to learn how to make that little extra money online.

I have gone out there, checked some, and I’m here to report to you what I found. It may not be entirely new to you, but many of us were not convinced about its authenticity and never had the opportunity to work it to see if could actually make us some money. I paid for it, and I tested it. It’s Project Payday.

In this review, I won’t sugarcoat whatever it is about this program, I’ll tell you point blank what you need to know about this program before you make your decision about joining.

So what is Project Payday?

Well, it’s just one of the numerous opportunities available to making money online.

How does Project Payday work?

Project Payday helps you make money through Incentivized Freebie Websites or what those in the industry call IFWs. Here is how it works. There are hundreds and if not thousands of websites out there that will say: click here and get a free Ipod, PS2, electronics and many stuffs you can think about. I’m sure we all must have seen these kinds of ads at one time or the other. Before trying Project Payday, I never thought I would give ads like this a chance.xbox

These companies are genuinely willing to give you these freebies, but they don’t give it to you just FREE like their words suggest. If it’s all free, then the world would be a better place. Before these IFWs give you these items for “free,” they make you refer a given number of people to complete a trial or no obligation offers from a known company or product. Some notable of these companies are Blockbuster, AOL, Netflix, Video Professor, and a host of others you may or may never have heard of.

Breaking this down further — Project Payday will teach you 3 different ways to make money with the IFWs. I will only cover one here for the purpose of this review. This method is “Getting Paid to Complete Offers.”

A perfect scenario for getting paid to complete offers:

  1. Someone you know from nowhere responded to a free Xbox 360 ad on the internet.
  2. They signed up and were required to refer say 2, 3, 4, or 5 people to sign up for offers.
  3. For this scenario, we will assume they need 3 referrals to get their free Xbox 360. So they referred 2 of their friends who signed up, and they needed 1 more person.
  4. If they can’t find the third referral amongst the people they know, then they’re willing to pay you 5,10,15,20,30, or even 50 dollars or more as their third referral.
  5. They go to an online community of pay to complete offer(Project Payday will provide about 4 of these communities to you,) in search of their third referrer– This will then be you looking to complete offers for people. You negotiate and agree on payment, and you complete the offer on their behalf through the link they give to you.
  6. When the deal is completed, they’re notified of your offer completion and they pay you the agreed sum of money via PayPal(most preferred), or check.

That’s all there is to the first method of making money with Project Payday. Looking through this scenario, you will notice you didn’t get the Xbox 360 for free, but instead, you paid your third referrer some money to complete an offer. An Xbox 360 that’s worth about $350 dollars was gotten for about $325.

At any given time, you will have hundreds of people willing to pay you to complete these offers for them. Remember, some work the IFWs as a business and very tiny few do it to get the item for personal use. Some are willing to pay 5 people $20 or more to get the “free” stuffs they want.

Can You Get Rich With Project Payday?

The answer is absolutely NO. You can make some decent money which can be equivalent of a 9 to 5 job, but don’t expect to get rich.

Are there risks involved? Yes there are. As with most online money making programs, there are some bits of risks involved. You just have to master the game.

How fast can you make money? You can make money and have it in your Paypal account as early as the first day you start. This means you must have read the training materials, and followed given details.

Is this Scam? No it’s not. I came across Project Payday a while ago, but anytime I visited their pages I always thought they’re scam. Many scam make money sites all have some similarities. Their front pages are so flashy, long, full of videos and other promotions to lure you to buy into their program. Project Payday has similar traits, but it’s not a scam.

With all I have outlined above, the decision now rest upon your shoulders. By now, you should be able to deceide if this is the right kind of opportunity for you. Remember, nothing comes easy, you always have to work hard to get what you want. I have only outlined one of the three ways you could work the IFWs here, but you will get to know more and learn more upon joining.

In conclusion, Project Payday may not be the best money making opportunity out there, but its worth the trial.

ChaCha Vs. kgb_

ChaCha Vs. kgb_

Should it be kgb_ Vs. ChaCha or ChaCha Vs. kgb_? Well, anyway works. The real deal here is that ChaCha now has a competitor whom it will share the ever increasing mobile search market with. I won’t be talking much about their market sizes, but I will surely touch some bits about these two mobile search service providers.

First, we know ChaCha mobile search launched in January of 2008 and they currently have exceeded 3 million users in about a year. On the other hand, kgb_ , formerly Infonxx is fairly new into the kind of service ChaCha provides here in the U.S., but they won’t tell you they’re. kgb_ claims to have been the the “knowledge business” for over 15 years(through acquisition and subsidiaries) and in 2007, they answered over 1 billion questions– pretty impressive.

So what similarities do these companies have? On the business side, they both are mobile search providers with the sole aim of providing quality answers to their customers on the go. They also recruit humans to answer questions sent to their short codes; 242242 for ChaCha and 542542 for kgb_.

What You Should Know About ChaCha

  • Who don’t like free stuffs? ChaCha is free.
  • Another prop for ChaCha is that they give you free unlimited voice questions; that is, you can ask questions through their voice system 1-800-242-2242 and have answered delivered to you via text.
  • Some say they’re free because they provide less quality answers. I think this is untrue.
  • Their automated service is great. With this, you can get automated answers for word definitions, weather, jokes, trivia question, and many more. just text MENU to 242242 to see what I’m talking about.
  • You may ask only 4 questions within a 72 hours period. This means 40 questions per month
  • ChaCha is ranked 2nd in mobile search behind almighty Google.
  • Good and reasonable pay. If you’re a Top Guide you get paid 20 cents per question and if you don’t make the Top Guide status, you’ll be paid 10 cents per transaction.

From a consumer point of view, I can’t ask for more.

What You Should Know About kgb_

  • They’re new and promising.
  • kgb_ is “global” not just in the US, but in Europe and Asia.
  • There hasn’t been too much criticism, but it will only take time.
  • They charge you 50 cent per question. In my opinion, it’s not the best way to compete with a free service from ChaCha.
  • Their agents are paid 10 cents per question irrespective of whether you’re providing good or not so good answers. I won’t take anything away from kgb_, but one would assume since they charge 50 cents, they should be able to pay their agents more than ChaCha. That’s not the case.

Overall, I don’t have too much to complain about the services kgb_ and ChaCha provides, as I will leave all the complaints for my readers to do. But what strikes me is that kgb_ offers 10 cents when ChaCha offers just about the same and more for their Top Guides.

Blogging Mistakes; What Were Yours?

January 22, 2009 · Filed Under Blogging · Comment
Success is the goal of every blogger, but it doesn't come overnight

Success don't come overnight...

At one time or the other, we all must have made some mistakes in life which we “hopefully” must have learned from. But how about blogging? As it is, blogging to bloggers, is part of their lives and for sure, there have been mistakes made along the way. On my own end, I have made countless number of mistakes which sometimes I’m unconscious of.

I will begin by outlining one recent mistake I made while I was trying to move my whole blog pages from a sub directory to my root directory.  It all started when I decided it was time to give my blog a facelift. I knew the whole idea about backing up my stuffs, but at some point, it all went awry and I couldn’t figure out what the problem was.

I was successful moving my backed up blog to my root directory, but it won’t just connect to my DB. I did all the troubleshooting I could to make everything work with my existing DB, but it all failed. At the end, guess what I did; I ended up deleting my whole database. I created a new DB and everything worked fine. I know I must have made some mistakes in the process of moving and backing up, but I didn’t know what I actually did wrong.

So what were my mistakes? My mistakes happen to be double edged. I’m unsure of what I did wrong– first edge and I failed to look for the right documentation to help fix this issue– second edge. While this issue lasted, I lost my DB, lost my pages and had to start all over again. My lessons? Patience works best when troubleshooting. I have learned that when I’m faced with issues like this, I need to be calm and seek the necessary help I could get.

So what were your mistakes? Have you got any mistake to share? If yes; what did you learn from it?

Happy New Year — Year of New Internet Money Making Ideas…

January 22, 2009 · Filed Under Work From Home Opp. · Comment

Happy New Year to you all. For those who have visited the I.V.T blog before, I’d like to say welcome back. For those who are new and visiting for the first time, I say, welcome. This year 2009 may inadvertently lead to shift in ideas. Why? The simple answer is because the economy is in a recession. We all need to come up with ways; not just ordinary ways, but proven ways to generate reasonable income on the internet.

I have not been able to post on the blog for two weeks now because I have been battling with as you know, the bogus “make $1000 daily” opportunities on the internet. I have spent a large chunk of my time trying to decipher what these guys are talking about, but nada. Most of them are unproven and empty. I have gone from “home rebate processors” to “data entry” work from home jobs; all of the ones I came across prove to be empty. I’m not saying there aren’t credible ones, but I’m yet to find any one that I consider to be credible and genuine. The worst part of it is that the data entry job won’t mention to you the fact that the bogus amount they claim you would make depends on sales. What you’ll be doing basically is writing ads all over the internet trying to sell items. If you’re lucky and someone makes a sale through your ad, then you’re paid a certain commission. That’s all there is to data entry jobs. This may in some way sound like affiliate marketing (which works and is proven), but the data entry guys will never tell you you’ll be making sales and posting ads.

Another opportunity I laid my hands on was the HYI. HYI stands for High-Yield Investment. This may not be as popular amongst those who seek to make money from home, but I’m very sure it’s very popular amongst those who are into investments. This kind of opportunity requires that you invest a certain amount of money which will later (daily) generate some revenue/dividends. Many of the companies you’ll be dealing will require a minimum of $10, some require just $1. The $10/$1 will be your initial investment; this investment generates between (as they claim) 0% as many as you can think of. Beware of those that brag over 3% per day. The HYI involves a lot of risk as your investment is reinvested in gold, shares, or forex; gold happens to be the most secured form of investment amongst these three. I would have gone ahead to try the HYI first hand, but the money transfer, exchange, withdrawal and processes with the HYI are cumbersome.

I’m not giving up, and I’m sure you also are not. There would be trials and errors, but slowly and steadily, we’ll all get there. I will be embarking on another phase of verifying them (I.V.T). I’ll keep you posted on my progress. Good luck.

Work From Home Jobs

January 22, 2009 · Filed Under Work From Home Jobs · Comment

With the ailing economy and job losses, I’m sure people are compelled to find other alternatives to making a living; at least, I can say of myself. When I got laid off some couple of months back, there was no immediate job for me to hang unto to cater for the bills, but I was lucky I had an online back-up that sustains me till this present time. For over 5 months now, I have been in my PJ working just right from home; though this may not be a lump sum(income wise), the fact is that it caters for my very basic need.

I’m very sure not everyone out there want to earn thousands of dollars in a month just in a hurry. If you want to, you would at least start from somewhere. And if you’re ready to start from somewhere, my next and future posts are for you. Over the coming weeks and months, I will be outlining work at home jobs that would at least help cater for some of those bills.

Stay tuned and watchout for my next post. Make sure you check on I.V.T for updates.
